How do we make veganism mainstream? Many people would argue that it’s through the media…
Want to be a part of making more Vegan television programming happen? Considering throwing your support behind Vegan Mashup - a six-episode season of fun and lively new half-hour cooking shows to be distributed to U.S. public television stations!
Since 2005 filmmaker Betsy Carson has produced 52 episodes of the popular public television program Totally Vegetarian. Now she’s embarking on an exciting new project, and she needs your help to get it off the ground! Each episode of Vegan Mashup will feature 3 vegan chefs (Terry Hope Romero, Toni Fiore and Miyoko Schinner), and a special guest chef – they will show how to make mouthwatering vegan recipes – how to veganize your favourite recipes – and demonstrate that it can be easy and delicious to transition to a vegan diet.
Why They Need Your Help
The project funds will be used for production in New York, California, Maine and elsewhere. Post-production and effective outreach will also be funded. “Delicious TV has a proven track of producing entertaining programming and we hope you’ll help us make this new show happen. We simply can’t do it without community and fan support. We have an opportunity to showcase many talented vegan chefs who prove that vegan food is delicious and kinder to animals and the planet.”
