In most cases, it is highly abnormal for younger dogs to develop canine diabetes, but if your dog is over 4 years old and exhibits other symptoms, then the possibility of diabetes is a valid one. Diabetes in dogs is much more widespread in females. Many of the dog’s symptoms are comparable to those of diabetes in humans. It is because females are having more fat in their body and with the right type of hormone that can add to this illness.
