Study: Smoking doesn't always shorten life, cause cancer

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 9 (UPI) -- Genetic markers were found in long-lived smokers that promote longevity in cells and mitigate damage, and may help prevent diseases tied to cell dysfunction.
