Loneliness is 'AS deadly as a lack of exercise and diabetes': Poor social network 'drastically increases risk of heart disease, stroke and cancer'

University of North Carolina scientists found that lonely people are more likely to develop health problems, such as inflammation and high blood pressure - and have a shorter life expectancy.
